Foothill Knolls Elementary School

Foothill Knolls Elementary School is an elementary school in Upland, California, USA. The school provides Pre-School through sixth grade, and special ed, along with Daycare.

The enrollment at Foothill Knolls is 500 students. Usually there are three teachers per grade.

In the fourth grade, students learn about the California Gold Rush. During this unit, the students participate in a reenactment of the Gold Rush, where they dig for gold and sell it to buy their lunch and tools. Also in the fourth grade there is an archeology day, where students participate in digging up ancient artifacts. Fourth graders also have to chance to go to Knott's Berry Farm each year. In sixth grade, students go on a trip to the mountains.[1] This is called sixth grade camp.

It is a California Distinguished School.
